What To Expect At Your CedarNorth Regular Checkup:

  • Professional cleaning and polishing: The CedarNorth Dental team includes the very best dental hygienists who will use dental instruments to gently and thoroughly clean and polish your teeth.
  • Education: After the cleaning, your hygienist may give you some tips to help address any dental issues you are dealing with.
  • Examination: Both your dental hygienist and dentist will examine your teeth, gums, and mouth, to look for changes or signs of a problem (for example, a cavity or gum disease or early signs of oral cancer).
  • X-rays: We use both X-rays and an intraoral camera to ensure any emerging issues are caught early.

Things To Discuss With Your CedarNorth Dental Team During Your Regular Checkup:

  • Be sure to tell your dentist about any health problems you are dealing with especially conditions such as diabetes and heart disease.
  • Inform your dentist of all medications you take both prescribed and over the counter. Don’t forget to list supplements and vitamins.
  • If you have fear, anxiety or a sensitive mouth, communicate your feelings to the dentist. We offer sedation dentistry, and our spa-like setting with warm towels and flat screen TVs in our patient rooms helps to relax most patients.
